Lou Rosado
Director of Membership
I was born and raised in Southern New Jersey, graduating from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor’s in Business Management Logistics and Operations. Over two decades, I held leadership roles with a Fortune 50 company before joining the AFP Group in 2021.
With my wife of 23 years and our two children, we’ve led various community service projects. One involved a water drive distributing over 4,000 cases to Flint, Michigan, during their water crisis. We also aided Houston, Texas, after Hurricane Harvey and sent supplies to Puerto Rico post-Hurricane Maria.
In 2023, we moved to Houston to continue community support and expand my career. I focus on personal financial literacy and wealth management.
Becoming part of the Houston Regional Veterans Chamber of Commerce began as networking but quickly grew into a significant commitment. Inspired by their mission, I became the Director of Membership, nurturing growth towards a chamber of 6,000, and aiming to make Houston the hub for veteran-owned businesses. In this role, I can now engage with and support our members on a greater level. This would not be possible without our Pathfinders. This group of incredible volunteers proactively reaches out to each of our members to ensure they are not only aware of the many resources we offer, but looking for any other opportunities for The Chamber to support and help our veteran-owned business grow.
