West Oaks Hospital has provided psychiatric care to the Houston area and surrounding communities for over three decades. Our 160-bed acute care facility is fully accredited and includes a 16-bed residential treatment center for adult chemical dependency.
We offer a broad range of behavioral health programs for children, adolescents, and adults. Treatment is offered at multiple levels of care including inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient.

Tora! Tora! Of the Commemorative Air Force, with support from the Lone Star Flight Museum, Collings Foundation-Houston based at Ellington Airport, and the Vietnam War Flight Museum. One of the top air shows in the United States, this premier Houston event is dedicated to showcasing vintage World War II aircraft, along with the thrills of modern aviation, and has supported a variety of local and national charities during its 37-year history.
Among our major Goals and Objectives: To promote an event for the entire family, promote aviation, to gain national recognition for the Airshow and the regional area. To promote patriotism, and awareness of former and current military assets protecting our nation and the world. To support military recruiting efforts. To perpetuate the spirit in which such combat aircraft were flown in the defense of our nation, in the memory and hearts of all Americans.
To honor men & women who served and currently are serving in the military and those based here in Houston. To honor and perpetuate the memory of those men and women whose personal sacrifices during the six years 1939-1945 resulted in the preservation of FREEDOM for Americans and the liberation of those in foreign countries. To "KEEP 'EM FLYING by providing funds to acquire, restore, and maintain WWII, and other historical aircraft for the benefit of educating the public and helping to preserve the history of these unique aircraft that protected our great nation.
To provide and award educational scholarships in the aviation fields for local area students. To produce a "SPECIAL SHOW on Friday exclusively for the physically challenged. To benefit "AT RISK students as WOH volunteers. To benefit the city of Houston and surrounding communities. To benefit many non-profit and charitable organizations participating in the event. Dr. Diana C. Dale is a clinically-trained corporate chaplain and the president and founder of Worklife Institute, a non-profit organization serving Texas and Gulf Coast families and companies, since 1988. Services include life and career transition, employee assistance counseling, conflict resolution, business ethics, and organizational change consultation. Dr. Dale was a senior technical manager and chaplain in the engineering and energy industries before founding the Worklife Institute.
She earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts from Stanford University, a Master of Divinity and a Doctorate of Ministry in Corporate Chaplaincy, did post-doctoral research at the UT Health Science Center in Occupational Health and Safety/Management Policy Science, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Change from Graduate
Theological Foundation. Dr. Dale has licenses as an Engineering Geologist, Marriage and Family Therapist, Professional Chaplain, and Mediator. In 2007 the Institute created the Texas Veterans Transition Program to assist military veterans and their families to reintegrate into civilian workplaces and communities.
The program provides career and educational evaluation, connection to employers, and retention coaching, using our Integrated Quality-of-Life approach, with supportive services including individual, family, legal and financial counseling.
